9 months old Yasmin no longer has to worry about her Congenital Heart Disease (PDA)

Yasmin is sister of two sponsored orphans in SEHAT (Supporting Education through Health Assistance and Treatment) project of Islamic Relief Afghanistan. Living in a single room house with Taj BiBi (mother) in Bamyan Province of Afghanistan, Yasmin has been receiving assistance for her life saving healthcare needs since her enrollment in the project. Being on medication since her first days, she went through an open heart surgery on 20 Jan 2018 through referral component of the project in one of the well-known welfare hospitals of Kabul.

Borrowing transporting expenses to travel to Kabul, Taj bibi is sincerely thankful to Allah and Islamic Relief for playing their part in saving her daughter’s life. She expects the project to continue beyond mid-2018 and expand to other provinces.
