India

Since 1994, we have been working with local organisations in India to deliver emergency relief and development projects.

Our emergency response to Cyclone Phailin– which crashed into coastal communities in 2013 – saw over 18,000 people receiving essential food aid.

Current development schemes include a project to prevent the spread of disease in remote rural communities, and supporting eight education centres for children living in a Bombay slum.

Islamic Relief India was registered in 2008 as a Section-25 Not-for-profit Company under the Indian Companies Act.
